Music in the streets

I am hereby challenging all those who live in Cincinnati to a Musical Duel. For 2 years now I driven home from work and heard individuals BLASTING their music as though everyone from the greater Cincinnati area to the outskirts of Maine want to hear what was in their CD player. I have grown tired of trying to ignore and/or roll up my window to block out this phenomenon. Perhaps I have been misconstruing this as disrespect when in fact it is ones personal invitation to celebrate one's musical tastes. Not to be stereotypical, but most of the music in my corner of the world being turned up to 11 on the amp involves someone with the word "lil' " or "puff" in their name. Therefore it is time that I give back to the community and celebrate my musical taste. From now on.. when you see my Blazer come rolling up to you, listen for the phat rhythms of Raymond Fairchild, Tea Leaf Green and Gillian Welch. Perhaps someday I will put 12' woofers in my trunk just to blast "Careful with that Axe Eugene....." Perhaps a complete waste of money... but I figure maybe that is how Roger Waters intended it to be played!

What about you... what will you be playing?
